Desde Mi Barrio Presented by the Latin Music Project

Desde Mi Barrio (From my Neighborhood) is a concert series presented by Puerto Rican Arts Alliance’s the Latin Music Project. This series features local and national musicians while celebrating the rich music of Puerto Rico and other Latinx cultures.

Join us on April 30 for the next concert in our series, Cuerdas Clásicas. This Latin American performing arts group is also a not-for-profit cultural organization marked by the qualities of troubadours and bohemians who at times perform in formal dress and tuxedos, interpreting melodies of a clasical and semi-classical nature, and at times perform as members of an Estudiantina, wearing vestments in accordance with the customs of sixteenth century Spain.

This concert will take place in the Juan and Gladys Mendez Music Hall (located inside the Latin Music Project Center). Donations for this event go directly to supporting our youth arts programs and community artists.
